Also, I'm assuming you watched the season season of Aldnoah, right? What did you think of the season and its ending?

THE ENDING IS SO BAD OH GOD NO. SLAINE DESERVED BETTER. Ahem.
The first few episodes of season 2 ranged from okay to pretty good, but halfway through the writing just turned worse and the characterizations of certain characters got crapped on. Also the entire last three episodes were so rushed, just like the ending. It's like A/Z is trying to be Code Geass only it's not as fun. I don't want to give so much away in case you haven't watched it yet, but eeeh... I enjoyed the show nonetheless, but I'll freely admit that it has a lot of problems.
The music is still great, at least.

The ending was pretty terrible, I agree. I was a bit surprised that Slaine ended up living as I was expecting the series to end similarly to how Code Geass did, but I guess living would be a worse punishment. The fact that they pinned all the crimes on him and everyone lived ~*~happily ever after~*~ ...ugh. The ending was what, a couple minutes? I guess 12 episodes just wasn't enough time...
Haha I also had several issues with the show but it was definitely entertaining. I really like Slaine despite all his flaws and it was enjoyable seeing what he would do to obtain more power. I can't believe nothing happened to Lemrina though... I feel like there was so much blatant foreshadowing about her impending death and yet nothing happened. The same with Inaho's eye, I felt as though everyone basically kept saying 'omg be careful your eye will go rogue' but what ended up happening what so anti-climactic. But as you said, the last few episodes were rushed, so maybe they just didn't have enough time to do anything more dramatic.
Completely agree, the music was awesome!
