totally try it out! Its only 30+ comics (and i could be wrong, but i think there was 2 prequel comics that came out later? maybe not hahaha) The anime is pretty decent too, but its really amazing art so very worth it!

Oh yeah One Piece is an investment for sure. I got in when it was maybe like... four years old, lol, it's more daunting now.

Actually, if you are indeed intrigued by it, I'd recommend you watch the Strong World movie. Aside from crewmembers that joined, it doesn't have any spoilers, it's self-contained in terms of plot, and it displays a pretty accurate sample of the tone of the main storyline (humour, characters bonds, reactions under stress, combat. etc).So if you watch that and like it, you'll probably like the show/manga, if you don't, well, then you'll know :P

Trick or Treat!

Recently I've been watching the (rather old at this point) Twelve Kingdoms, and I'm completely charmed by it.

Yeahh, the manga is a bit better. Much less filler and more intense emotions. Also the story differs from the anime somewhat, and I prefer the things that happen in manga more c:

Thank you and the same to you ♥

Trick or Treat!

To absolutely no one's surprise, my all-time favorite series is Sailor Moon. These days I'm watching a lot of idol stuff, though - Aikatsu! being the big one, since AKB0048 finished. I watched the first episode of PriPara last night and it's pretty cute.

And on a completely opposite note, I'm watching the new Fate/stay night anime and really enjoying it.

Trick or treat!

I found myself really into Free! suddenly orz

But my all time favourite anime are Kaiji and Arakawa Under the Bridge! I've been really excited about the new Parasyte anime as well, but it does involve a lot of gore and body horror...

TRICK OR TREAT!!!

One of my all time favourite anime is Yumeiro Patissiere! It's super shoujo and super fluffy but the sweets always look so good and I've rewatched the entire series (both seasons) at least 4 times each... OTL

On a not-so-shoujo wavelength, I also really like Eyeshield 21! It's probably my favourite shounen anime/manga. The anime was enjoyable but I'm more biased towards the manga because it actually covers the Christmas Bowl + so much other stuff and I've also rewatched/reread this series a couple of times, too!

Trick or treat~!

Spiral: the Bonds of Reasoning is easily my favorite manga ever! The anime was ok as well, but the ending was changed so much that the true story couldn't even begin. But still, both are worth checking out. ^_^
adurotum: (Oooh so impressive.)

Trick or treat!

If you like super cute squishy series, a manga I've read recently called Nukoduke was really enjoyable! It's about a guy and his pet cats... sort of cats...
nidoking: ([Last Exile] Lavie is dirty)

I tell everyone to watch Last Exile, it's my favourite series ever ;;
toran: Gankutsuou: Peppo leaning on a vacuum and smiling [at Albert]. (boy that I love)

Trick or treat!

My favorite anime is...Gankutsuou! It's a futuristic sci-fi adaptation of the Count of Monte Cristo that tells the story from the point of view of one of the supporting characters from the original story, so it's an interesting variation!

Runner-up is Shin Sekai Yori which is a false utopian sci-fi anime.

I'm not actually good at describing things, BUT THEY'RE GOOD. They're both more serious than fluffy, but maybe that's your thing, too! >:|b
